With many and varying fishing locations available within
a few hours of Darwin there is always somewhere to head
for some exciting Barra fishing. Depending on the tides
and the time of year you will fish the location which
offers the best opportunities at the time.
Locations
One of the Top End’s many famous Barra fishing locations, depending
on which offers the best opportunity for some exciting Barra fishing.
Locations including Corroboree Billabong, Sth Alligator River, Shady Camp,
Mary River, Adelaide River and Bynoe Harbour.
Target Species
Barra, but you may also encounter Jewfish, Golden Snapper, Saratoga
and Salmon to name a few.
Minimum numbers
Minimum of two is required. (Late Apr - Dec)
Minimum of three is required. (Mar - late April)
Larger groups can be catered for.
Availability
March – November
Transfers
You will be collected from your Darwin accommodation before sunrise
and will be transferred to the billabong in an air-conditioned late
model 4wd. You will be dropped back to Darwin in the late afternoon.
