Day 1: Darwin - Kakadu

Travel deep into Kakadu National Park. Take a guided walk to view Aboriginal rock art at Nourlangie Rock. After lunch join the famous Yellow Water Billabong Cruise to observe saltwater crocodiles and prolific bird life. Visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre and view the informative displays and exhibits.
Accommodation: Gagudju Crocodile Holiday Inn, Aurora Kakadu or Kakadu Lodge. (L)

Day 2: Arnhemland - Darwin

An early start this morning as we travel by 4WD vehicle into Arnhem Land and the Mikinj Valley. We travel through spectacular scenery including sandstone outcrops, escarpments, forests, floodplains and billabongs. Hear of traditional land ownership, learn of bush skills, hunting, food gathering and preparation of ‘bush tucker’. View Aboriginal rock art in its natural state - no fences or barriers. Most tours are accompanied by an Aboriginal Guide. Return to Darwin. (L)
